Welcome to Wallypop’s blog! I’m Sarah, and I own Wallypop. We opened up shop in 2004, and since then have been devoted to bringing you quality WAHM-made, Iowa-made cloth diapers, baby carriers, special needs items, and other complimentary products that are affordable on a single income.
Several years later, I decided to branch out, and opened Boulevard Designs, an Etsy shop where I initially sold a mishmash of other things I felt like making! Baby shoes, placemats, aprons, knit goodies. Over the last several years, my inventory over on Etsy has more or less reflected my inventory on Wallypop. Some items are available only on Etsy, some are available only on Wallypop. But most are available in both places.
In 2012, I opened up LemonDrops, a specialty shop catering to those with medical needs, or parents of kids with medical needs. My youngest son was born in 2011 with kidney failure and he is the inspiration behind most of LemonDrop’s products.
Lest there be any confusion, this blog is part of http://www.wallypop.net, a commercial website.
This blog serves two purposes. First, it is a place for customers to come for updates on the store, the website, and our products. Add our RSS feed to your blog reader and you’ll be able to stay on top of our comings and goings with no effort at all.
Second, it is a place to get some helpful information. From time to time, I will post articles or a series of articles on topics that I think my customers might enjoy.
I hope our blog is useful to you. Take what you want, leave the rest. Thanks.
I am eager to come and see your stuff when you are open again. Please add me to your dist list for re-opening updates. Congrats on your birth! My second child is due in May, and we’re planning a home birth. Our first was a Methodist hospital baby.
I tried cloth diapering with Motherease. At 19 months, they’re still too big and bulky. I really want to try again with diapers that are a bit slimmer so that the baby can wear pants. I am also looking for a new sling for baby #2. Looking forward to visiting with you in the new year!

Someone posted your website on one of the websites I mod at. (Not a green site per se….although there are a few crunchy people there)
Anyways…..grats on the wee one…..my daughter was born in Dec so like you I’m busy with her and washing our diapers. š
When you re-open please send me an e-mail…..I’m interested in purchasing a few things.
Thanks!
Hi I was referred to your website by a gal today at work. I’m expecting and due in March. I have been really intrigued in clothe diapers and want to know more about them. I know they have changed a lot since I was a baby but not sure what. I read your blog and not sure if you are still on business for new customers, but any information you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
