Wallypop Luxury Mei Tai
Our new design Mei Tai takes all the awesomeness of the old style Mei Tai (still available as the Basic MT) and turns it up a notch with sleeping hood, pocket, and longer padded straps. No more floppy head when baby falls asleep, and the handy storage pocket gives you a great place to stash some money, keys, or whatever you might need while you’re out.
In other changes, there is no longer an option to add a toy ring to instock carriers. The toy ring for made to order carriers is changing as well – I can no longer use the metal toy rings (CPSIA), so the toy rings will be a fabric loop and will now be attached to the top of the carrier’s body.
Also, I did some testing with slightly wider bodies, after hearing a few customers wonder if a wider body would be more comfortable. News: it’s not. I liked it, but Genna has hated that carrier every time we’ve worn it. At two, she’s got pretty long legs, but after about an hour in the carrier, she started complaining that the backs of her knees hurt. (I mean, she started whining a bit and rubbing at them, then ultimately tried to stand up in the carrier and rub the back of her legs.)
