In the pouch, asleep

This is Genna sleeping through the Superbowl.

She’ll take much longer naps if she’s being worn. This was actually part of my Sling Training Program for Genna, and she fell asleep. Note how she’s got her feet tucked inside the pouch, and she’s upright, with the back of the pouch coming up to her neck for good support. When she’s facing me in the pouch (or a ring sling, and to a certain extent in a MT or wrap), her body/head will naturally fall forward onto my chest if she’s adequately supported so I don’t need to worry as much about something supporting the back of her head.

PS, Sling Training Program details next post.
