Restocking! And sale! And Your opinions!!

I have been super busy lately getting all sorts of goodies restocked. (I will admit, sometimes I am jealous of resale shops that only have to order more inventory when they run low!)

And on sale!

All Pouches just $20  and  Appliqued Fleecy Wraps and Fleecy Pull-Ons just $12!

Your Opinions!

I’m hoping to get several more items restocked before I need to cut back in preparation for this new baby. (Yes, technically, I could just keep working, but I prefer to take several weeks to just enjoy my current kids and tank them up a little on mama time before the new arrival.)

I want to know what YOU most want to see restocked. Do you want large fleece covers? More wool? Onbu carriers? More colors of napkins? (If you’re requesting something that already has plenty of inventory, like pocket diapers for example, please take an extra second to note specifically what you’re wanting.)

I’m also planning to put at least one product on sale each week between now and whenever I close things up.

What do YOU want to see on sale? Gift-y things like Little Leg Warmers and Snackin’ Bags? Items over in my Etsy store? Essentials for your little one like fitteds and covers?

Let me know what YOU want!!

All In One diapers back in stock finally!

It’s been a LOOOOONG time since I restocked All In Ones. Once I start pushing something back, it’s easy to just keep pushing it back, but I guess I never intended for it to be 6 months, lol.

At any rate – they’re back! This is not a huge restocking, particularly with the larges, and I hope to do another batch yet this fall to get inventory levels up a tad, but there are some available instock now so all you Wallypop AIO lovers don’t have to keep ordering them made to order!

Integrating Boulevard Designs blog and Wallypop blog

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be integrating the Boulevard Designs blog with this blog. I haven’t done what I wanted to do when I started the Boulevard Designs blog, and it makes the most sense at this point to just combine them. So you’ll start seeing some posts over here about knitting projects I’m working on, the charitable crafting I do, and things I’m listing at the Boulevard Designs Etsy store. Shortly, when you click on the Boulevard Designs link at the Wallypop main page, it’ll just take you directly to Etsy, instead of to the blog first.

We hope you enjoy the new posts!

I love it when I can say this…

Everything that has been ordered has been shipped.

Yay!

2 exceptions: 1 MTO that I’ll finish tomorrow and 1 wholesale order I’ll finish tomorrow.

Holy Moly am I out of practice!

So those of you placing orders this week, bear with me while I get the rust out!! I’m so slow! (You probably won’t notice, but the time it takes me to enter an order, pull the items, remove them from paper inventory, and process shipping is about double what it used to be!!)

I’ll probably start screwing up soon, too! Something to look forward to!

Changes to Made to Order Process

Awesome Diaper

So we’re drastically changing the way we handle Made to Order items around here. When we re-open on January 4, you will need to reserve a Made to Order spot, and then you will be allowed to actually order your items (however many you want).

My process before was working alright. I allowed MTOs to be placed without restriction. Sometimes this meant that the wait time for MTOs was 3-4 weeks, or longer. However, most of you seemed to be OK with that (considering that so many of you expressed willingness to wait that long). But it wasn’t working all that great for me!

First, I get sooo stressed out knowing that people have given me money and are now waiting for their things.

Second, I ended up sewing MTO items and not having any time to work on restocking. This made for a bad, bad circle. No time for inventory = no inventory. No inventory = customers have to order MTO. Customers have to order MTO =  all my time is spent sewing MTO. All my time spent sewing MTO = no time for inventory. And so on.

We’ll see how this new system works. I’m going to give it a go for a few months. I’d appreciate feedback on the whole thing if you have a moment. And in a few months, I’ll see what we all think before deciding whether to make it permanent.

Update

So… I’m closed now. Local customers who need something quick and easy are welcome still – if I can’t accommodate you, I’ll probably just ignore you. Not the best customer service, but if I’m in labor, I’m probably not going to return your phone call, you know?

ANY customer who needs customer service, please contact me. I’ll do my best!

I am HOPING to have a chance to restock before I reopen. But the last two weeks have not been at ALL what I planned, and I’m now two weeks behind where I thought I’d be. So… we’ll see. I’m refusing to stress about it.

Thanks, and I’ll definitely post pictures and info here when the wee one makes his or her arrival.

Etsy, Etsy, Etsy

I’m sorry, this week has been particularly challenging, between closing up shop at Wallypop (temporarily) and the resultant influx of orders, exhaustion, and some challenges with this pregnancy here at the end, I haven’t had a chance to take the darn pictures to get things up on Etsy!! My plan is to photograph tomorrow morning and start listing tomorrow afternoon. We shall see.

I also have four carriers I need to finish.

New Baby Shoes – just a sampling.

For Craft Saturday first, then to be listed on my Etsy shop. I now have newborn, 3-6 month, and 6-12 month sizes. Yay!

A bit behind on order shipping

I’m running a bit behind on shipping, I anticipate putting everything that has not shipped from the last week into the mail tomorrow. Our internet went out Thursday and I do my shipping online, so I was unable to process anything all weekend. Thanks.
